At Highland Coffees, I found the most comfortable and relaxing of atmospheres. The coffee shop has a laid-back seating arrangement with comfortable couches like luxury lounges.
It is a great hangout location and its proximity to the campus makes it a common destination for students looking to study or work on their computers. It has a nice, little patio out the back.

So if you have a certain coffee blend in mind and cannot find it on the menus of coffee shops in Baton Rouge, try Social Coffee and place a special order.

There’s a cool selection of food options, desserts, and pastries at City Roots Coffee Bar, including wine and spirits. This is one of the new coffee shops in Baton Rouge worth visiting.

Cafe Express
This is my favorite black owned coffee shop in Baton Rouge. After Simple Joe Cafe, this is another coffee shop with a dedicated breakfast menu.
