This modest, stylishly decorated cafe serves specialty coffee drinks and freshly baked goodies. The coffee blend is superb, the cappuccino has wonderful cream, and the temperature is ideal! 

Even though the location appears to have lovely, comfortable seating, it is frequently quite packed. There are two levels in this cafe, as indicated by the term “bi-level” that was just used (upstairs and downstairs).

The Locker Cafe

This family-run arts café has an upstairs patio for cultural events and special handmade dinnerware. The Locker Cafe is indeed a fantastic location in Cambridge to visit. Their cast iron home-brewed coffee is fantastic! The pastries taste quite excellent and smell fantastic. Across the street, there is an outdoor space with a table and chairs. Surely an ideal place to get caffeinated.

Hot Numbers – Trumpington St Cafe

Here is a laid-back, independent espresso bar with a micro-roastery, coffee menu, and bare floors, containing a charming, welcoming café serving wonderful meals. Despite the crowd, I was able to get a table for two and received timely service. 

The environment is laid-back, and the personnel is friendly. I appreciate that there are great options for sandwiches, pastries, and patisserie for a light lunch.

Urban Larder

This country-modern cafe and shop sell food and coffee from local farms as well as the creations of local entrepreneurs. There aren’t many chairs inside this tiny bistro. On a beautiful day, there is outdoor sitting, which is great.

In the heart of Cambridge University, there is a wonderful cafe like this. Despite being adjacent to a busy street, it is rather nice and quiet, and the coffee is also fairly good. The staff was helpful and quick. 

You shouldn’t expect to find space for huge gatherings though because it’s fairly small. One of the few locations in Cambridge that offers some gluten-free alternatives is Espresso Lane.

A cozy bistro in the heart of the city. There is a good probability of missing this charming tiny café restaurant if one were to move quickly. Along with the standard fare, they also provide fantastic coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. Excellent customer service and helpful, courteous people. 

Cafe 24 has more seats upstairs and serves great food, the strawberry, and Nutella crepe, as well as the chicken tikka cheese wrap, were both excellent. The price may be a little high, but the quality is excellent. They allow credit cards besides American Express.
