Equipment You’ll Need

Cinnamon Coffee Beans to make coffee

Step 1

Measure out your roasted coffee beans and grind them in the coffee grinder. Simultaneously, grind two sticks of cinnamon in the spice grinder and keep some water in a kettle to boil.

Step 2

Place the filter paper on the top portion of the brew pot, wet it to get rid of any taste of the paper, and discard this water. Next, measure the coffee grinds and cinnamon and put them on the filter.

Step 3

Pour water over the grinds in concentric circles from the center to the exterior of the circumference, allowing the grinds to bloom for 30 seconds.

Step 4

Now pour water 3-4 times over the grinds while waiting for the water to steep into the bottom of the pot before re-pouring.

How to Serve Cinnamon Coffee?

Once all the water steeps through the top half of the brew pot, the resultant brew at the bottom is a mix of coffee and cinnamon! It is ready to be had as a cup of morning coffee, or you can add sugar, milk, creamer, or whipped cream to add to the flavor and texture.
