Coffee Project New York | Fort Greene

Coffee Project New York is one of my favorite coffee shops because of the atmosphere. The coffee shop has a large space with comfortable tables and chairs where you can hang out or get some work done. Their coffee menu contains a variety of delicious coffee blends and gluten free options. I highly recommend the gluten free lemon bread.

Devoción

One of the many things that makes coffee the most popular beverage is that it comes in different blends. Devoción coffee is sourced from Colombia. It is 100% Colombian specialty coffee and the taste is delightful. It is another of my favorite coffee shops to work in NYC as they have spacious outdoors and cozy couches.

Abraço

Abraço is not spacious but they allow guests to come in and work. If you are lucky to go there before the place gets jammed, you can get a comfortable spot and spend some time working on your PC. The cafe is popular for its baked goods which are scrumptious options to go with their fine tasting coffee.

Gotan

Gotan could pass as a coworking space that sells coffee. The cafe has been a choice destination for locals who want to work and you’d typically find people going into the cafe with their PCs and books. At Gotan cafe, the chairs and tables make working comfortable and if you need a healthy breakfast, this is the place to go.

Stumptown Coffee Roasters

Stumptown Coffee Roasters is another of my favorite coffee shops. The only downside to this coffee shop is that it can be difficult to find free space during the day. Suppose you want to chill and relax, the coffee shop also gives you the ambience to do so. Their coffee is delicious and they’ve got a decent variety of pastries.

Joe Coffee Company

Joe Coffee Company is a typical modern coffee shop. Their products, packaging, and atmosphere is simply inviting and if you want to get some work done in the coffee shop, you’re welcome. The low wooden tables and chairs, arrayed finely, makes the coffee shop a great place to work.

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday from 7am to 7pm; Sunday from 8am to 5pm

Kaffe Landskap NYC (South)

This coffee shop had the intent of nomads and workaholic folks when it was designing its interior and outdoor seating. They serve fine coffee but I couldn’t help but fall in love with the seats and tables in Kaffe Landskap. The wooden chairs and tables are custom-made to look like what you’d get in a normal coworking space. Kaffe Landskap is brightly lit and their menu selection is a good one, although not completely great.

Ground Central Coffee Company

Here, you will enjoy large spacing for your work. Sadly, the WiFi here is not solid here and that could be because of the number of people connected at the time I visited. The chairs and couches are comfortable and there’s a quiet small room that’s open to guests. If you need to eat, Ground Central has a good selection of pastries and croissants to choose.

Location: 155 East 52nd Street, 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10022
Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 7pm; Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 5pm

The Roost

The Roost is another one of my favorite coffee shops to work in New York. What makes this coffee shop standout is because it is dog friendly. Yes. You can take your dog with you, enjoy coffee, and the variety of delicious pastries while you work. The Roost opens till late in the night and this for me is what I want from a coffee shop that allows me to work.

Location: 222 Avenue B, New York, NY 10009
Working Hours: Monday and Tuesday from 8am to 6pm; Wednesday and Sunday from 8am to 12am; Thursday from 8am to 1am; Friday and Saturday from 8am to 2am

Blank Slate Coffee + Kitchen NoMad

Blank Slate Coffee is a hidden gem of a coffee shop to work in NYC. They have the best breakfast and lunch options among coffee shops in this review and their working provisions are optimal. Their outdoor seating arrangement is downright cute and if you need to get work done over coffee and some light bites, then Blank Slate Coffee would be worth visiting.
